Wowsers. Okay - online shopping, obviously it doesn't always get the groceries. I love diapers and soap.com, there is I believe drug.com too :)Ilisa Ailtshttps://www.blogger.com/profile/18417351960030303677noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6613098443917855826.post-53023155183880201292011-07-13T05:10:26.736-07:002011-07-13T05:10:26.736-07:00Funny R.T used to go ballistic in Publix and often...Funny R.T used to go ballistic in Publix and often times Kroger every time we shopped...someone once mentioned to me that it could be the lighting! They said a family member was 'allergic' to it. The artificial lighting,if you will, burned her eyes! Not so crazy if I do say so myself.Katehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/02793127746881717685noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6613098443917855826.post-6476503622128381462011-07-12T16:47:53.877-07:002011-07-12T16:47:53.877-07:00Ooh you conductive a live subject experiment! I am learning all sorts of sensory thing through Ellie so I definitely believe the lights can be a huge factor. Some articles on SPD talk about visual sensory stimulation and lights causing aura or headaches. . . makes sense to me!Anna Theurerhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/06937391910402532608noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6613098443917855826.post-79156161734181837572011-07-12T09:55:40.896-07:002011-07-12T09:55:40.896-07:00Yeah, I noticed when my oldest was a baby that she...Yeah, I noticed when my oldest was a baby that she went nuts in florescent lights. Even I go a little crazy without realizing it until I walk out and suddenly feel better. I wonder about florescent lighting in classrooms...how do we expect kids to learn?Shaunahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/11667213489369646420noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6613098443917855826.post-66482982276283468662011-07-12T09:10:39.918-07:002011-07-12T09:10:39.918-07:00Tiffany,

I am not surprised, however, because I get migraines if exposed to extended periods in blue florescent lights, even more so, if the surrounding walls are also painted blue to blue-gray. I had to stop attending Sunday School at Ft. Oglethorpe years ago due to this phenomenon. Once, I went to the hospital with an excruciating, light-induced migraine, only to be put into a waiting room that was painted blue with the same florescent light!

As educators, we know about light-induced seizures, as well. This is a great "experiment" in search of comfort for both Leesie and you!Jeanette Underwoodhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/11107193985943261078noreply@blogger.com
